Dr Bronte Ayres is a clinical cardiologist specialising in echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, arrhythmia management and perioperative cardiac care. He has been with SA Heart since its inception in 1984.

Dr Tapash Bakshi is an interventional cardiologist with expertise in percutaneous coronary interventions and CT coronary angiography. Dr Bakshi has been with SA Heart since 2007.

Dr Alistair Begg is an experienced cardiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging including exercise stress echocardiography, CT coronary angiography, coronary intervention and general cardiology. Alistair joined SA Heart in 2007 and consults regularly at our Ashford clinic.

Dr Ian Button is a general cardiologist with special interests in interventional cardiology, hypertension and coronary CT scanning. He joined SA Heart in 1998.

Dr Jonathan Cherry MBBS FRACP FCSANZ is an interventional and general cardiologist who joined the SA Heart team in January 2018.

Dr Yann Chow MBBS FRACP is a clinical cardiologist with special interests in cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease, heart failure management and women’s health.

Dr Anthony Chuang MBBS MMed FRACP FACC is an interventional and general cardiologist. Anthony studied Medicine at the University of NSW. He subsequently obtained A Master of Medicine at Sydney University and underwent cardiology training at Flinders Medical Centre.

Dr Vincent Goh MBChB FRACP is a clinical cardiologist with special interests in general cardiology, cardiac arrhythmia and heart failure management.

Professor Ian Hamilton-Craig MBBS (Adel), PhD (McMaster), FRACP, FCSANZ, FLS (Lond) is one of Australia’s leading experts in the management of lipid disorders

Professor William Heddle is a highly trained and experienced cardiologist and electrophysiologist and has been a pioneer in the development of arrhythmia management. Professor Heddle has been with SA Heart since its inception in 1984.

Dr John Hii is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist with a special interest in catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. Dr Hii joined SA Heart in 1994.

Dr Richard Hillock MBChB FRACP FCSANZ is a New Zealand-born cardiologist and electrophysiologist. He joined SA Heart in 2007. Richard's expertise is in heart rhythm and cardiac device management. He has a special interest in the management of athletes.

Dr Luan Huynh has special interest in cardiovascular imaging, non-invasive cardiac testing for ischaemic heart disease, diagnosis and management of valvular heart disease and difficult to control hypertension.

Dr Andrew Kelly MBBS DCH(Adel.) FRACP FCSANZ is a Paediatric Cardiologist who is experienced in all aspects of paediatric cardiology.

Dr Kashif B Khokhar MBBS PhD MRCP FRACP FCSANZ is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist. His expertise is in heart rhythm, hypertension and cardiac device management and has recently joined the team at SA Heart.

Dr Payman Molaee is a clinical cardiologist with a special interest in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging including echocardiography, stress echocardiography and his particular area of expertise, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Dr Eng Lee Ooi 'Daryl' MBBS PhD FRACP FCSANZ FESC has special interest in cardiovascular imaging, the management of ischaemic heart disease and heart failure. He is also passion about preventative cardiology.

Dr Susie Parnham MBBS BMedSci FRACP PhD FCSANZ is a cardiologist with special interests in cardiac imaging, myocardial ischaemia, coronary artery disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathy.

Andrew is an interventional cardiologist with a special interest in ischemic heart disease, hypertension, and heart failure.

Dr Abdul Rauf Sheikh is an interventional and general cardiologist. He specializes in complex coronary intervention procedures, coronary physiology, intra-coronary imaging (IVUS & OCT) and trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

Dr Navin Sinhal MBBS MD FACP FCSANZ is an interventional and general cardiologist who joined the SA Heart team in February 2018.

Dr Peter Waddy is an interventional cardiologist with special interests in complex coronary, adult congenital and structural heart disease intervention. Dr Waddy joined SA Heart in 1998.

Dr Matthew Worthley is a cardiologist with a special interest in diabetic vascular disease and interventional cardiology. He joined the SA Heart team in 2005.

Dr Derek Yiu MBBS FRACP is a General Cardiologist with a special interest in Stress Echocardiography. Dr Yiu joined SA Heart in 2009.
