This service provides your cardiologist with clinically relevant data that creates greater insight into your healthcare plan without you needing to attend an SA Heart clinic in-person. The Remote Monitoring service is here to support you and provide a level of care that optimises your quality of life.

An annual subscription fee will apply for Remote Monitoring. The service fees are covered below:

Medicare will offer a rebate that partially offsets this cost, which can be claimed upon completion of your review.
Patients holding a DVA Gold Card will have all expenses fully covered by DVA.
Your remote downloads are reviewed by the technical team at SA Heart and evaluated by your cardiologist. At times, you may be required initiate a manual download. A technician for the remote monitoring team will contact you by phone or text message to complete this process.
Remote Monitoring is not an emergency service: If you think you are experiencing life-threatening event, contact an ambulance by dialling 000.
If you are experiencing issues with your device or have a concern that you would like your cardiologist to evaluate, please contact the Remote Monitoring team at SA Heart directly on (08) 8345 5522.
The Remote Monitoring team is available Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm excluding public holidays. Urgent data will be sent to your cardiologist out of hours by your device company for further action if required.
