Implantable Loop Recorder Test

What is it?

An implantable loop recorder is a small, thin device inserted under the skin that monitors and records your heart's electrical activity over a long period of time in order to identify an irregular heart rhythm.

This test downloads all recorded information from the device, and should be performed as soon as practicable after a recorded event.

Preparation

Wear two piece clothing as the technician will need to access the chest.

Results
