More than double the number of applications were received for the available residential places.  Those who missed out were given a wait listing option and will be given special priority for the next SA Heart Cardiac Symposium.  All applications for non residential places have been able to be accepted.

The reasons cited for the overwhelming response include the relevance of the topics, the interactive structure of the program and the family friendly arrangements, where residential delegates can be accommodated with their partners and children, facilities permitting. Delegates' partners are also able to attend the Symposium dinner on Saturday night.
