SA Heart Education and Research Foundation
SA Heart Education and Research Foundation officially launched.
The first meeting of the SA Heart Education and Research Foundation was held on 6 May 2010. Dr Bronte Ayres was elected Chairperson, Dr Ian Button deputy Chairperson and Mr Gerry Mak Secretary-Treasurer. The inaugural foundation board also includes Dr Sharmalar Rajendran.
SA Heart has established the SA Heart Education and Research Foundation as an independent, non-profit body for advancing cardiac education and research.
SA Heart has provided the Foundation with seed funding and will make ongoing donations to support the work of the Foundation.
