Dr Chi-Lam Fung MBBS FRACP FCSANZ

Dr Chi-Lam Fung is a clinical cardiologist with special interests in general cardiology, heart disease in women and public health.   Dr Fung joined SA Heart in 2003.

Dr Fung graduated from the University of Adelaide and completed her cardiology training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she also spent 2 years post cardiology training working in the Intensive Care Unit. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Public Health as well as a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Adelaide.

In 1998 Dr Fung was awarded her Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She is a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) and a member of the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS).

Her non-cardiology interests include medico-legal medicine, medical ethics, and health economics. She regularly volunteers as a medic for sporting events.

Dr Fung currently consults at Ashford and Noarlunga Heart Clinics. She also holds a part-time public appointment at Noarlunga Hospital as a consultant cardiologist
